Limmud Conference
December 2007

35 JEWISH PEOPLE AND ONE SIKH RESPOND TO THE QUESTION "WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU PRAY?" AT LIMMUD CONFERENCE

What happens when you pray? was on site at the University of Warwick during the Limmud conference inviting the participants to give their responses on camera. About 35 delegates agreed to do so and the results will be shortly streamed on the video sharing website "youtube". A Sikh bus driver on a break from duties also took part. The results were eloquent, informative, challenging, poignant and almost universally highly personal.

The resulting videos which ranged from 35 seconds to about 3 minutes in length were then shown in a contuinuous loop on Boxing Day. Invitations to take the idea to Jewish conferences in Los Angeles and South Africa have been received as a result.
